Welcome to my website. I love sharing my work with people, and I hope it brings a smile to your face.

My favorite thing is to capture the essence of a person – to preserve the natural expressions of love, care, concern, shock , and other emotions they experience during moments of pure joy, deep thought,and life events. I prefer to use natural lighting and especially love outdoor photography (although many of my photographs are of musicians - generally at indoor venues).

I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. The first photo I remember taking was of the sun sparkling on the water at a lake in my home province of Saskatchewan. I carried that photo around in my wallet for years and thought it was the most beautiful thing ever. For me, that simple black and white photo evoked a special memory of the day I took it. Each time I looked at it, it brought me back to a place where everything felt peaceful and right.

That feeling is what I strive to bring to my photos – one that comes only with the recollection of a special day, person, place, or a combination of all of these. I look forward to meeting you and helping you capture the special moments of your life.
